開心果

外觀
- 葉
- 羽狀複葉，小葉通常3枚或5枚。
- 花
- 長7.5~10cm的直立圓錐花序上開不起眼的小花；雄花序比雌花序密集得多。
- 果實
- 帶紅色的橢圓形果實，長約1.9cm，其中的種仁就是開心果。
生長環境
- 原產地
- 原產中亞、阿富汗北部、伊朗東北部。
- 生態
- 適宜夏季漫長、炎熱、乾燥而冬季溫和的地區；以加利福尼亞為準，正常開花結果需要7.2℃以下低溫900小時以上。
