成年樹樹冠平展而寬闊，水平展開的枝條上直立著桶形球果。
外觀

- 深綠色堅硬針葉多枚簇生。
- 花
- 不開花，而形成直立的球果。
- 果實
- 雌球果直立，頂端平或略凹。成熟球果中種子脫落。
- 樹皮
- 深灰色樹皮有裂縫。
生長環境
- 原產地
- 從土耳其南部到敘利亞、黎巴嫩的地區
- 生態
- 幼年期生長慢，松鼠利用其球果。
