Ginkgo Tree of Seosan Hyanggyo

서산향교은행나무

Said to be one of four ginkgo trees planted by earlier people at the Hyanggyo, as recorded in the Hosanrok (1619), the region's first gazetteer. Estimated to be 430 years old, 33 m tall with a circumference of 430 cm. Owned and managed by Seosan Hyanggyo.
