Japanese Black Pine of Samcheon-dong, Jeonju

전주 삼천동 곰솔

Very rare as it grows inland. Estimated to be about 250 years old when designated, 5.0 m tall with a circumference of 3.6 m. A single trunk rises, then from about 2 m the branches spread horizontally, like a crane about to take off from the ground.
