Japanese Red Pine of Seorak-dong, Sokcho

속초 설악동 소나무

Estimated to be about 500 years old (at designation). It stands on the road from Sokcho into Seorak-dong, 16.8 m tall with a circumference of 4.24 m. Two large branches 2 m above the ground have died, and the trunk forks into two at 8 m.
